A year of shooting one roll of film a week

What changed when I stopped using my phone for everything.

I bought a small rangefinder in January and decided to shoot exactly one roll of 36 a week. By March I was a worse photographer. By August I was a better one.

The constraint did the work. With 36 frames you stop taking pictures of things you already know you don't care about.

I am not going to pretend the film looks better. The film looks like film. What changed was the way I see things between the photos.
